Motivation is key to success but Failure is way more important
Hey readers
So I strongly believe that in order to succeed we have to fail and fail hard and fail often, I use failure as a positive now ( i used to use failure as a negative). So I believe that there are two types of people in this world or maybe 3 types of people depends on which way you look at it!
The first type is the scared of failure the ones that if something bad happens and they fail they think that their world is going to come crashing down before them.
the 2nd type is the people that are ok with failure, they don't really like it but they don't dislike it either.
the third and final one which the rare one is the types of people that use failure as motivation to succeed they don't think of it as bad or brutal that a majority of us do but as a positive.
Recently I have gone into category three but before that, i would have personally gone into category 1 which to me now looking back on it feels stupid! anyway so now I use it as a motivational tool I think of failure as this way At the gym we strive for failure we are looking for our muscles to fail ( which is a good thing) So why in life in general do we always think of failure as a negative? are we scared that if we fail we are no longer good enough? how about we turn a failure into motivation instead of saying nope that is it I am finished I am leaving those burpees are too tough. What if we change our thoughts and said well what can I improve? And also in a society that keeps trying to push people to be perfect, its ok to practice and not get a new skill right the first time around and its ok not to be perfect at it. Also, who cares what Sally thinks or What martian thinks because they are not you, have they gone on your journey? if they were life would be boring
So I motivate myself by keeping myself real, in the only way that I know how by being completely surprised by what I managed to get done. I motivate myself, sometimes I use others to tell me if I have improved but most of the time I motivate myself.
