Volunteering
So I signed up a month ago to volunteer for a Drop-in centre/ community centre Called Wayside. This amazing phenomenal place helps visitors who are either homeless or recently housed and help them to get back on their feet.
So as I said earlier on that my mum was a Volunteer and I have always admired her for it (but please don't tell her that she might get emotional) she now Volunteers for charities that help the homeless. So I used to Volunteer for a local non for profit nursery and preschool. To me, it was a no-brainer helping these little ones and seeing their faces always put a smile on my faces. I guess it is in the genes.
Volunteering is something that I recommend everyone should do whether it be volunteering at an animal shelter or going to an old person's home, or going and volunteering at a youth centre it doesn't matter. It helps you find gratitude and it keeps you humble. And people actually respect you much more for it.
