If you grow up on Social media how do we know our true identity (Part 2)

Hey Readers
So like my last post, this is part 2

So when we use social media as a millennial how are we supposed to know our true Identity? If we are constantly challenged by Social media and it is all a one-sided view as in what people want us to see not who they actually are or who we actually are how are we supposed to connect with them?

When we as Millennial the first question, when the subject of social media comes up for some, is oh so how many followers do you have on social media? which literally translates to I hope I have more than you. which goes back to the competitiveness again (if I am ahead of the pack and I am winning I am doing a good thing I must get more than my mate in order to be popular)

So after that, I have always wondered why the older generations are like why are so many Millenials being bullied ( we bring it into our homes or the bullies come into our houses unwelcomed) to mental health issues, we are constantly only seeing 2D images or videos through a screen of other people's presumed and unrealistic lives. People only want us to put our best selves on the internet whether we want to or not if you put too much you are judged people say keep that personal to being judged when you don't put something for a while on social media the common Question are you dead? No, Mildred, I am not dead I was taking a break from Social media for a while! By the way, not that we need permission but it is perfectly ok to take some time off from social media.

Mental illness is also big because for some it is a split personality we put our best selves on social media we might even change our personality to match what our friends or what we think others want us to put on Social media, Yet in reality and I am going to be real here NOBODY CARES WHAT YOU DID OR ARE DOING on social media because they are too focused on the point of their own nose and their smartphones or computers to know what you are doing on your own social media accounts.
